Foundational Seminars

Each year, ArtsNOW Foundational Seminars host teams of educators (K-12) to explore arts-integrated instructional strategies aligned to state and national standards. These strategies promote 21st-century skills, critical and creative thinking, student achievement, and academic growth.

In 2025, ArtsNOW hosted Foundational Seminars in Georgia and South Carolina for 349 educators, 55 schools, and 23 school districts. We hope that your team will join us this year!

Foundational Seminars are designed for school teams that include administrators, arts educators, and classroom teachers. Following an immersive two-and-a-half-days, educators leave equipped to bring creativity, innovation, and arts integration into the classroom across all content areas.

Highlights include research-based strategies, participation in hands-on learning, plus music, theatre, dance, visual arts, and digital/media arts demonstrations. Registration includes 3 days of general sessions, break-out sessions in all art forms, and all workshop materials. Participants receive 20 professional learning contact hours.

ArtsNOW will be offering Foundational Seminars in both Georgia and South Carolina for 2026. Complete details for each event are listed below.
